Board Chair Adam Archuleta comes to LHC as a health care executive with 28 years of experience working for the Department of Health & Human Services Indian Health Service. While achieving the rank of Captain in the United States Public Health Service, Mr. Archuleta spent his career providing technical assistance and consultative services to federal, tribal, and private health care organizations and facilities. He is excited to contribute his expertise to LHC to ensure the organization maximizes operations and services at an optimal and quality level. He currently is the owner of Badger Health & Associates, LLC., a consulting service utilizing his years of knowledge in the system to assist health care delivery systems and tribal organizations. Chair Archuleta is an enrolled member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes with ties to Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo and the Hopi Tribe.

Elizabeth “Beth” Sanchez, MPH, MBA is an asset to the LHC Board Vice Chair position with her vast expertise in Strategic Business Planning, Multi-Specialty Practice Operations, Grant Writing and Leadership positions within the medical field. Currently Beth is the Sr. Director of Healthcare Operations with DaVita Medical Group where she is the Administrative Lead on development Comprehensive Wellness and is responsible for operational direction for 17 clinical locations. Beth also has experience working with Native American Communities as she was the former CEO at the Pueblo of Sandia Health Center.

Joseph Lucero, LHC Board Treasurer, is currently an Executive Director at Presbyterian Medical Group, his experience includes health plan and provider group leadership with a focus on analytics, operations and creating value-based relationships between payers and providers. He has worked for several Healthcare organizations in the community, prior to his most recent role, he served as the Executive Director of Medical Economics for University of New Mexico Medical Group and as Assistant Vice President of Operations for Molina Healthcare. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Computer Systems from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico.

Susan Shiosee who is a registered member of Laguna Pueblo and also a descendant of Jemez Pueblo. Susan has recently been voted as the LHC Board Secretary. She is from the Village of Mesita where she grew up. She has her Masters in Health Administration and Bachelors in Business Management. Ms. Shiosee has 20 plus years’ experience in the healthcare field in which she worked for Indian Health Services (IHS), private practice and currently works for a Tribal 638 healthcare organization. Ms. Shiosee is passionate about the health and well-being of her community. She is excited and dedicated to applying her knowledge and expertise to the Laguna Health Board and serving her community.
